STUDIO SOLIVEN – TERMS & CONDITIONS

These General Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made directly from Studio Soliven. They are the latest and most updated version. Orders placed before their release will follow the previous terms, but certain clauses may be adjusted to align with this version. Transactions between private individuals are not covered. By placing an online order, signing a quotation or rendering, or paying the down payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

1. PLACING AN ORDER

All rugs, whether custom or from our website, are handcrafted and may vary in size by 1%–3%. Colors may differ slightly from photographs or swatches due to dye lot variations. Such differences are normal for handmade rugs and do not constitute defects.

SAMPLES & FEES

Clients are entitled to up to three (3) samples free of charge. Additional samples are charged at PHP 2,500 each, billed together with the final 40% balance.

2. LEAD TIME

Unless in stock, rugs are made to order with the following estimated timelines: • Rendering – 7 days upon receipt of design and color choices

• Rug Samples – 45 days upon approval of rendering and colors

• Bespoke Hand Tufted – 120 days upon approval of rendering and sample

Rush orders may be possible with a 20% rush fee, subject to production capacity. Tentative lead times will be confirmed in the signed quotation.

4. CLIENT APPROVALS IN WRITING

All design, rendering, color, and sample approvals must be provided in writing via email, signed document, or written acknowledgment on a verified messaging platform. Production will only begin after written approval is received. Any changes requested after approval may result in additional costs and extended lead times.

3. CUSTOMS

All rugs are imported and processed through customs. Studio Soliven will handle the necessary paperwork.

4. TERMS OF PAYMENT

Before proceeding with production, Studio Soliven requires the following:

•⁠ ⁠Full payment OR a minimum downpayment of 60% to confirm the order.

• 30% payment upon completion of rug production (before shipment).

• 10% payment prior to delivery/installation..

•⁠ ⁠Signed approval of documents (Renderings and Samples if needed)

- Orders will not be delivered until fully paid.

• Down payments for custom orders are non-refundable once production begins.

5. CANCELLATION

• Custom orders: Once design and production begin (after rendering or sample approval), the order is final and non- cancellable.

• In-stock items: Cancellation requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Approval is at Studio Soliven’s discretion.

6. DELIVERY DELAYS

Studio Soliven will make every effort to meet the agreed delivery date stated in the signed quotation. If delivery is delayed solely due to Studio Soliven by more than 1 day, the client will receive a 1% discount on the total contract value for each additional day delayed, up to a maximum of 10%.

Delays caused by the following will not be eligible for discounts:

• Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, earthquakes, floods, pandemics, strikes, government restrictions, transportation disruptions, or supplier issues outside Studio Soliven’s control

• Client-side delays such as incomplete site preparation, pending permits, late approvals, or changes requested after approvals

Studio Soliven will always inform the client promptly if a delay is anticipated.

7. PACKAGING & DELIVERY

• Rugs are cleaned, packed, and transported using equipped trucks.

- Metro Manila: free delivery.

• Outside Metro Manila / International: Client shoulders all delivery fees and taxes.

• Studio Soliven is not liable for damage during transit via third-party logistics providers chosen by the client.

8. DELIVERY ACCESS & STORAGE

• Clients must prepare the site in advance (service elevator access, manpower, furniture adjustments).

- Improper site conditions or exposure post-delivery are the client's responsibility.

• Storage: The first 30 days after notification of completion are free. Beyond that, a fee of PHP 1,000 per day applies.

9. INSTALLATION

• Carpets requiring installation will follow Studio Soliven’s standard methods.

• Non-standard requests may be declined if they compromise safety or quality.

• For staggered installations, full payment for the carpets must be made before the first installation date.

10. POST-DELIVERY INSPECTION

Clients (or authorized representatives) must inspect all items upon delivery. Signing the delivery receipt confirms that the items were received in good condition.

11. RETURNS

• If an issue is noticed upon delivery, do not sign the delivery receipt and notify our team immediately.

• If the delivery is accepted and later returned, the client is responsible for pickup and delivery charges (PHP 500 within Metro Manila; other locations vary).

• All return requests must be made within 48 hours of delivery.

12. WARRANTY

If items arrive damaged or with manufacturing defects, inform the delivery team immediately for inspection. Studio Soliven will replace defective products after assessment.

Warranty does not cover:

• Mishandling or damage caused after delivery

• Stains

• Cleaning methods not in line with our Rug Care Guide

15. UNCLAIMED RUGS

If rugs are unclaimed, or the client fails to arrange delivery or pickup within three (3) months after notification of completion (sent via email or phone), the rugs will be considered abandoned. Studio Soliven reserves the right to dispose of or resell abandoned rugs without refund.
